Overview of Prestwick Facility
Opened in 1998, the Woodward Aircraft Engine Systems Prestwick, is situated on the west coast of Scotland within South Ayrshire, within Burns country. The town was the first home of the Open Golf Championship, which was played on the Prestwick Old Course from 1860 to 1872s. The facility is based close to Glasgow Prestwick Airport and is part of the Ayrshire Aerospace cluster.
At Prestwick we are proud of our ability to work closely and aligned with other Woodward facilities whilst ensuring that we have a strong community engagement.
Woodward Prestwick is responsible for the repair and overhaul of aircraft fuel control systems and is part of the Aircraft Turbines Systems (ATS) group. Working closely with our customers and suppliers to deliver excellent OTD and TAT the site has seen solid growth and continues to break sales records through the current phase of growth.
